Gov. Ugwuanyi Visits Nike Lake Road, Set To Construct Flyover, Other Gigantic Projects (Photos) 

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, accompanied by his Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Greg Nnaji and the Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area, Hon. Alex Ugwu, inspected the ongoing designated road diversions, preparatory to commencement of the construction of the all-important flyover at Nike Lake Road T-junction.

IGBERE TV gathered that the construction of the gigantic projects will necessitate closure of the road and all approach routes to it.

Gov. Ugwuanyi was also accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, the Works Commissioner, Engr. Nnaji, the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese and Pro-Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Most Rev. Prof. Godfrey Igwebuike Onah, the University’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Eze, and the Chairman, Enugu State Urban Renewal Committee, Arc. Chris Offor, inspected the ongoing construction works at ESUT Teaching Hospital and College of Medicine, Igbo-Eno, Enugu North Senatorial District of the state.

The governor equally visited the International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu, among other project sites that require government’s interventions.

The designated road diversions at Enugu East LGA will be adequately communicated to the public accordingly, prior to closure of the Nike Lake Resort road for the flyover project.
