Popular Nigerian Comedian, Mr. Macaroni has spoken out to Nigerians about his arrest, after he was released from police custody, IgbereTV reports.
Mr Macaroni and 39 others were arrested on Saturday 13th February for participating in the #OccupyLekkiTollgate protest. They were subsequently granted bail in the sum of 100,000Naira each with a surety in like sum.
In a video he shared on his Twitter handle, Mr Macaroni narrated how he was physically and emotional tortured by the police. He thanked all Nigerians who supported him and spoke against his arrest. He called for unity among Nigerians in order to fight injustice in the country.
