American Lady Who Killed A Nigerian Man In A Lagos Hotel Arrested While Attempting To Flee The Country
Men of the Nigerian Immigration Service have arrested an American lady, Kari Ann O’Rourke, for allegedly killing a Nigerian man and attempting to flee Nigeria, IgbereTV reports.
O’Rourke arrived in Nigeria with a 24-month Multiple visas on January 7, 2020 and allegedly killed one Adebayo Michael Ayomide, in her hotel room in Victoria Island where she stayed. She was said to have been on the watchlist of the police who were on her trail.
On February 9, O’Rourke with passport number USA 558565339, arrived at the airport with plans to travel out via a KLM flight on February 8, 2021. However, her expired COVID19 result prevented her from boarding the flight, causing her to fall into the hands of the security officers who were on her trail.
She was apprehended by officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and FAAN Aviation Security (AVSEC) at the Qatar Airline counter before she was taken to the NIS duty room and thereafter handed over to the Airport Police command.
“Mrs. Ann was brought into the duty room about 12:30am 9th February 2021 by an immigration officer and a FAAN Security officer with information about a murder case.”a source revealed
