A Nigerian soldier identified as Usman Abdullahi has died during a fight with Boko Haram on Friday January 29, IgbereTV reports.
Twitter user @OvieSheikh, who shared the sad news online, wrote:

“I was just told 5 military men died yesterday with him , May God grant Usman and his colleagues Jannatul Firdaus.”
