The Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe has described the late Ezeukwu of Ngwaukwu, His Eminence Eze Bernard Onyenguzo Enweremadu as a credible encyclopedia of culture and tradition who attained the enviable status of a monarchical institution before death, IgbereTV reports.
Prof Ibe made this declaration in a condolence message to the family of the late monarch.
Part of the message reads thus,
“News of the passage of your father and royal patriarch of Ngwaland His Eminence Eze Bernard Onyenguzo Enweremadu has been received with mixed emotions. While being melancholic on one hand due to the irreplaceable loss of a man that became a credible encyclopedia of culture and tradition who attained the enviable status of a monarchical institution before death, I am on the other hand, encouraged by the lasting legacies bequeathed to humanity by the 44-year tenure of His Eminence. I therefore admonish you to bear your loss with stoic equanimity, being consoled by the cloud of witnesses who continue daily to bear true testimony of Ezeukwus impactful stewardship on planet earth.
While fervently interceding for the peaceful repose of the soul of His Eminence in glory, I adjure you to continue to work worthy of the Lord as we all look forward to seeing Ezeukwu again on the great day of the Lord. I therefore pray that his soul finds solace in the bosom of the Almighty.”
