Imo Government Recovers State Properties Allegedly Looted by Okorocha's Administration

IMO STATE GOVERNMENT RECOVERS PROPERTIES OF THE STATE LOOTED ALLEGEDLY LOOTED BY THE OKOROCHA’S GOVERNMENT.

Today, officials of the Imo State government, working on a tip-off, invaded a warehouse located at Aba/Owerri road allegedly owned by the family of the former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

The invasion, led by the Honourable Commissioner for commerce and industry, Comr. Simon Ebegbulem, revealed that items such as solar panels and its components, traffic lights, inverters, street lights, decorative trees, mixers, sewing machines etc were recovered.

The shocking discovery was made following the directive of the Imo State governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, to recover all the looted properties of government by the previous administration.

When this reporter put a call across to the office of the former governor and the Senator representing Imo West, their numbers were switched off.
