Photos of 200L Student Shot by Armed Robbers In Rivers For Resisting Rape Attempt

President of Student Union Government, Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology, Comrade ThankGod Nlenya Igwe, has visited the young lady who was shot by armed robbers for resisting rape attempt, IgbereTV reports.

Jeremiah Blessing, a native of Akwa Ibom and a 200 level student of the institution, was shot by armed robbers on Wednesday night, January 13, at about 9:00pm in front of the public toilet close to the school at Ikwerre road, Mile 4, Port Harcourt.

Miss Jeremiah has thanked the men of the State Police Command, students and security guards of the institution for coming to her aid.

“SEE THE FACE OF LADY SHOT BY GUNMEN IN PORT HARCOURT FOR RESISTING RAPE
Member of Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign,Comrade Igwe ThankGod who is also the President of Student Union Government of Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology in his dual capacity as a student leader and member of Centre for Basic Rights Today visited Miss Jeremiah Blessing, a native of Akwa/Ibom and 200 level female student of Management Department, Faculty of Management Sciences who was shot on Wednesday January 13,2021 at about 9pm by three man robbery gang at the front of a public toilet close to the college for resisting rape after they robbed her of her valuables.
She was rescued by the security guards attached to the institution and Students led by comrade Igwe ThankGod who called in the Police that took her to the hospital.
Miss Jeremiah in the meantime has Thanked the Rivers State Police command,Students and Security guards of College of Health at Ikwerre road Mile 4,PortHarcourt for coming to her aid.”
