A beautiful young lady, yet to be identified, on Sunday, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State after they attended Winner’s Chapel Church together at Abak Road, Igbere TV reports.
IGBERE TV gathered that the ugly incident which happened Along 4 lane Uyo caused panic and led to mob action against the lady.
The angry mob stripped the lady naked, poured water on her before she was rescued by policemen.
An eyewitness who spoke with IGBERE TV on the condition of anonymity said the lady stabbed the boyfriend on the chest and cut his legs.
According to the eyewitness, “after carrying out the dastardly act, the lady locked the doors and gates, jumped the fence before she was apprehended by angry mob that almost did a jungle justice on her”.
“She should thank her God that policemen came for her rescue, ‘ he told our correspondent.
Although the cause of the incident has not been ascertained as the time of filing this report, our correspondent gathered that there was a misunderstanding between both of them which resulted to heated argument.
Efforts by IGBERE TV to speak with Akwa Ibom Police Command proved abortive as call placed on their known line has not been answered as at the time of filing this report.
