A small boy walked up to Nigerian Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka and gave him a piece of paper to sign an autograph for him, IgbereTV reports.
The kid, his father, and Soyinka were all on the new speed train that plies Lagos, Abeokuta, and Ibadan.
Wole Soyinka signed on the piece of paper, and noted the date and place that the signature was given.
Sharing photos and a video of the event on Twitter, the kid’s dad identified as Alli-Balogun H. Lekan wrote:
“My Son braves the odds. He approached Prof. Soyinka for an autograph. Baba obliged him.
Children get away with a lot.”
