Executive Director of Igbere TV, Emeh James Anyalekwa, has congratulated his PUO Reports counterpart, Promise Uzoma Okoro, on his emergence and swearing in as Deputy Chairman of Bende local government council.
Okoro, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the recently conducted local government council elections, is the publisher of PUO Reports and former media aide to the Abia Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon (Engr) Chinedum Orji.
In a personally signed statement on Wednesday made available to journalists, Anyalekwa, who doubles as National President, Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), described the emergence of the journalist as historic.
“I congratulate you on your recent election to the office of Deputy Chairman of Bende local government council. Your emergence did not come to me as a surprise. You have proved yourself creditably, and you no doubt possess the ability to discharge the functions of the office,” he said.
While wishing the newly elected Bende local council deputy chair a successful tenure, the Igbere TV boss prayed for God to guide him as he sits on the affairs of the local government as deputy chairman.
“Please accept my heartiest congratulations on this well deserved victory and my prayers for a successful tenure,” Anyalekwa added, assuring of Igbere TV’s support towards his Office and tenure.
