The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi has commiserated with the family and Leadership Newspaper Group over the death of the founder and Chairman of the Newspaper, Mr. Samuel Ndanusa Isaiah at the age of 58, describing his death as painful, shocking and unfortunate.
Governor Umahi noted that Mr. Sam was a Political Columnist, Pharmacist, Entrepreneur and Journalist whose indelible mark will remain in the sand of time. He further stated that “As a committed Nigerian and core professional, he ensured balance reportage and truthfulness in the various publications of the newspapers with a diligence which endeared him to the admiration of many.”
Governor Umahi explained that his death has inarguably created a great vacuum in the media industry in Nigeria where he discharged his duties with great aplomb, dedication, respect for all with the zeal to ensure a greater Nigeria and development.
In a statement made available to IGBERE TV by the Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Francis Nwaze, Umahi prays to God to grant his soul a peaceful rest while urging his family members, the people of Minna and the Leadership Newspaper family to take solace in the many legacies he left behind.
