Obaseki Expresses Shock, Sadness Over Banker's Demise

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of economist and stockbroker, Mr. Albert Okumagba.

Igbere TV reports that Okumagba, who died at the age of 56 years, was an investment banker and Obaseki’s ally, who hailed from Delta State.

In a statement forwarded to Igbere TV, the governor said the news of Okumagba’s passing came to him as a rude shock, noting that he would be sorely missed.

The governor extended condolences to his wife and the entire Okumagba family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He also commiserated with late Okumagba’s friends, professional colleagues and business associates, noting that his “prayers are with them during this difficult period.”
