Social Media Users Drag Pope After Liking A Naked Picture On Instagram

Social media users have dragged Pope Francis after liking a semi-naked picture of an Instagram model, Natalia Garibotto, @nataagataa.

In the photo sighted by Igbere TV, Garibotto was posing in front of a school locker wearing a cropped top, mini skirt and suspenders.

Pope Francis, the current head of the Catholic Church, has 7.2 million followers on his Instagram, @franciscus.

It’s unlikely that Pope Francis actually runs his Instagram page himself, and the Instagram like was likely to be an accident.

Model Natalia is pretty big on the social media platforms, with 2.2 million followers on Instagram alone.

After she noticed the like on her profile from Pope Francis, Natalia was highly amused and joked: “At least I’m going to heaven.”

Then, she uploaded a video showing the like from Pope Francis to her main Instagram feed and captioned the post: “On this very day I was blessed, you could be too.”

Igbere TV gathered that Natalia is a 27-year-old social media personality from Brazil.

Twitter Reacts

Ever since Pope Francis’ Instagram like went viral, people have been taking to Twitter to react to it.

One Twitter user said “THE POPE JUST LIKES THIS PICTURE ON INSTAGRAM LMAO”, while another said in shock “not The Pope liking an OnlyFans stars Instagram post.”

“Can someone tell me why the pope liked an instagram models butt pic,” said another.

Another person debunked the Instagram like and said: “No chance that old pope controls that Instagram. Sorry to burst your bubble.”

Whether Pope Francis meant to like the photo or not will remain a mystery, but it’s certainly provided social media users with a few laughs.
