APC Ukwa West LGA — A New Dawn (Photos)

It was like a home coming for members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ukwa West local government area of Abia state, when one of the leaders of the Party in the LGA, Hon. Signor Kanu hosted a meeting of Ukwa West LGA executive of the party led by Hon. Allwell Enwereji and leaders of the Pro-Groups in his hometown of Umuba Umunteke Asa Ukwa West LGA.

Igbere TV reports that the meeting was well attended by all Pro-APC Groups such as Hon. B.I. Onwukwe Chairman, the OUK Movement, Ukwa West; Nkemdirim Onyike, Coordinator Team Ogah; Nduka Nwosu, Cordinator One-on-One with Ogah; Onyemachi Dimgba, Cordinator USOM; Hon Lucky Nwele Chairman, Reality Organisation; Hon. Richard Nwankwo, Cordinator Reformers Group; Hon. Eze Nwoloki, Leader, Impact Plus; and Hon Ezedinachi Kanu, Leader, APGA Structure.

Also present were Ward Chairmen, Bar. Sam Ogbonna; Hon George Nwancha and Chief Dom Oforji.

The convener thanked the party for the show of love during and after the burial of the Party Leader Engr. Okey Nwubani while promising that he will be there for the party as was the case when the late Leader was alive.

As part of chatting a new course for the party, the various speakers reiterated the need for unity in the party which they said has been the bane of the party in the LGA, a position taken by the host in his opening speech.

As fallout of the meeting, all groups mandated the Party Chairman to call a broad meeting of all Stakeholders and Leaders of APC in Ukwa West to address all issues. Each Leader that spoke thanked the convener Hon. Signor Kanu for the leadership quality he exhibited and advised that he should keep up the good work.

“This no doubt is an opportunity that has eluded the Party in the LGA” which all have agreed to work towards achieving a lasting peace.
