Again, Gov. Ikpeazu Relaxes Curfew in Abia

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has once again relaxed curfew following marked improvement in the State’s security situation.

A statement personally signed by Ikpeazu and sent to IGBERE TV, said he has approved relaxation of the existing curfew in Aba & Umuahia, from its current 5pm – 8am, to 6pm – 6am, effective Saturday, 31/10/2020, exempting those on essential service.

Ikpeazu further enjoined all to keep the peace in Abia State.

IGBERE TV recalls that Ikpeazu had declared 24-hour curfew in Abia State following attacks by suspected hoodlums that hijacked EndSARS Protests rocking the country.
