The Abia State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the Chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Alwell Asiforo Okere (PhD) and state working committee of the party have invited all the successfully screened Councillorship Aspirants for the forthcoming Local Government Elections under the PDP platform for an important meeting on Wednesday 21/10/2020 at Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia by 10am.
In a statement sent to IGBERE TV on Tuesday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party – Chief Fabian Nwankwo also invited all the 17 local government Transition Committee Chairmen, the LG PDP chairmen and all the successfully screened Local Government Executive Chairmanship Aspirants for the forthcoming Local Government Elections under the PDP for briefing also on Wednesday 21/10/2020 at the Conference Hall of the party in its Secretariat at No. 45, Finbars Road Umuahia while 1pm.
The statement further explained that the meeting and briefing were meant to prepare the Aspirants for the Councillorship Primary Election slated for Monday 26th and the Chairmanship Primary Election fixed on Wednesday 28/10/2020 respectively.
