An alleged notorious rapist, Identified as Ejike Chigozie, has raped three underaged girls at Umualumanwa in Umudike, Offinyi autonomous Community, Isiala Mbano in Imo State.
IGBERE TV gathered that the middle aged man is married to a beautiful woman who has delivered four children for him.
Speaking with IGBERE TV on the condition of anonymity, our source said the man is a notorious rapist in Anambra State where he was living before he
was arrested “but granted bail, for reason we do not know.”
Further investigations by IGBERE TV correspondent revealed that those raped by the suspect are girls between the age of eleven, fourteen and fifteen.
According to our source “this man has been abusing young girls for a very long time, and often threatened to kill them, if they report , fortunately the younger girl of eleven spoke up”.
“The man was accused of rape in the town he was living previously, he was arrested but granted bail, for reason we do not know.”
“He ran back to imo state and continue the act, luck ran out of him, when he raped an 11years old girl and the girl spoke up.”
“The Kings men of the community said they will settle it, in a community way which ought not to be so”, our source said.
Another person that spoke with IGBERE TV said the suspect has been raping the 11-Year-Old consistently but was just exposed a day before yesterday when the little girl cried out for help.
“The man has been engaging in the dastardly act for a long time now just that the little girl couldn’t bear the pain again and cried out for help.”
“We are seeking for justice to be done so that the man will be prosecuted for this nefarious act.”
As at the time of filing this report, effort by IGBERE TV to speak with the Imo State police command proved abortive as calls and messages were not replied.
A non-governmental organisation, ‘Women of Inestimable Values’ on Saturday, condemned the ugly act and the actions of some of the elders in the community.
Speaking with IGBERE TV correspondent, the group said the suspect should be handed over to the police for prosecution.
“The Police should look into the matter because the man is a serial rapist. If he is allowed, he will continue raping young girls.”
“The Community has nothing to do with this case. What do they know about rape case?”
“They said he was flogged and brought out to settle the case with the family. It’s totally wrong”
