Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has once again called on Abians to keep supporting Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in his developmental efforts in the State.
The Speaker made the call on Friday while addressing a gathering of Council of Chiefs of Ntigha Ancient Kingdom in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of the State.
Igbere TV reports that Hon. Orji was hosted to a mini reception by leaders of the area at the residence of Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, member representing Isialangwa North State Constituency at the Abia Assembly.
He was equally presented with a plaque of honour by the Chiefs for what they described as his sterling and exceptional leadership qualities, which have seen to the peaceful and impactful reputation of the Assembly in the overall sociopolitical development of the State.
Speaking at the occasion, the Speaker reminded them that Governor Ikpeazu deserves all the support he can get from all and sundry.
“His success is our success; it is the State’s success”, he said.
