The management of Ebonyi State University, on Wednesday, asked students not to resume academic activities on Monday 5th October prior to the previous information announced for the said resumption.
According to a memo made available to IGBERE TV, the decision was reached after a top meeting held by the management on the 28th September 2020
The Memo Reads,
: “Please recall that you were Informed previously via our memo Ebsu/R/66/VOL II/66 of 22nd September 2020 that Ebonyi state university will resume her full academic activities on Monday on Monday 25th September 2020 in line with the state government directive on the reopening of schools in Ebonyi state ”
“Inversely, during the 63rd top management meeting of Monday 28th September 2020, the management discussed extensively on the nitty-gritty Involved in the said resumption and resolved to suspend it for now until further notice”
“And by the forgoing, all concerned students should note the change and act accordingly”.
