FG, Organized Labour Meet Over Nationwide Strike (Photos)

The meeting of the federal government delegation with organized labour is still on at about 11pm, Sunday, Sept. 27, at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Igbere TV reports that the meeting, which started minutes past 9pm, is aimed at discouraging labour from embarking on strike from Monday.

At the meeting are representatives ofthe federal government including the minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

Others are the minster of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige; Minster of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo.

Representatives of the organized labour include president and secretary general of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and president of the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
