Other speakers include Joyce Banda, Benedict Oramah & others to speak at The Osasu Show Symposium 2020

A message from the organizers of the symposium reads:

“At a time when the world’s economy is being trampled on, lives lost, families and their lineages gradually disappearing. Leaders, world over, strive to find solutions to the varying effects caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

African leaders are not left behind. Forecasts from the African Development Bank reveals that Africa’s economic growth could rebound in 2021 provided the leaders begin to rethink their policies and strategies while repositioning for what we now know as the new normal.

There will be challenges along the way but we can overcome them. We must tirelessly engage in dialogue in order to develop inclusive policies that catalyze development, revolutionise the way we do business and most importantly, bequeath a better brand name to the next generation of Africans.”

The Osasu Show Symposium is a forum where key stakeholders from the public, private and development sectors discuss salient issues in regards to nation building and development particularly as it pertains to the welfare and livelihood of less privilege women and children.

The convener of the symposium is Osasu Igbinedion, daughter of Lucky Igbinedion, the former governor of Edo The first edition of the symposium was held in 2017.
