IgbereTV reports that supporters of the All Progressives Congress and those of the African Democratic Congress engaged in a violent clash in the Yaba area of Ondo town, Ondo State on Thursday evening, August 20, during which several party faithfuls were imjured and also several cars destroyed.
The real cause of the fight which happened a few hours before the local government election in the state is yet to be ascertained.
The police said that peace has been restored in the area while efforts are being made to arrest those behind the violent attacks.
