Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has emerged the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the October 10 Ondo Governorship election, Igbere TV reports.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria polled a total of 888 votes to defeat Akeredolu’s embattled deputy, Agboola Ajayi who came close with 657 votes.
Jegede will be facing Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All progressive Congress (APC) and about 10 other political parties in the guber poll.
