The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 31,323.
This was as the agency, via its Twitter handle, said the country recorded 575 new cases on Friday.

Since its outbreak in Nigeria, 12,795 patients have been discharged across the country while 709 lives have been lost to the virus.
