The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published a provisional list of candidates of the various political parties participating in the forthcoming September 19, 2020 Edo Governorship election.
Igbere TV reports that the two major parties participating in the election are the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state and the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
While former Secretary to State Government, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is the APC governorship candidate, incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki is candidate of the PDP.
