The Federal Government has approved the reopening of schools under what it termed “safe reopening” of schools nationwide.
Igbere TV, however, gathered that only graduating students (Pry 6, JSS3 & SS3) will resume under this new arrangement.
Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this at a press briefing of the task force in Abuja on Monday.
He said the reopening of schools was meant to allow students in graduating classes resume preparation for examinations.
The task force also announced the lifting of ban on interstate movement with effect from July 1, 2020. Travels are only permissible outside curfew hours, however.
“Safe reopening of domestic aviation services as soon as practicable,” the Presidential Task Force added.
