Former senator, Ben Murray Bruce has applauded the Federal Govt over the deregulation of petrol, IgbereTV reports.
Recall that the FG during the week removed subsidy on fuel, a move that has been applauded by many.
However, Ben Bruce added that the FG can do better by developing and implementing a mass transit policy and also start discussing electric cars.
He said, “Deregulation of PMS is a good move by Nigeria Govt, However, it shouldn’t end at that. The next step is for the government to develop and implement a mass transit policy. Also, we must start having serious discussions on Green Energy and Electric Cars. The time is now!”
