Nigeria, on Saturday, recorded 553 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), Igbere TV reports.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on its verified Twitter handle, @NCDC_gov.
The latest figure brings the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country to 9,855.
Since its outbreak in Nigeria, 2,856 persons have been discharged, with 273 deaths recorded.
