Former Enugu Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani Marks His 60th Birthday Today (Photos)

IgbereTV reports that the senator representing Enugu East Senatorial Zone and former Enugu State Governor (1999-2007), Chimaroke Nnamani marks his 60th birthday today.

Chimaroke Nnamani is a Medical Doctor, American trained gynaecologist, obstetrician and foetal surgeon.

He is said to be the Father of modern Enugu politics, a grassroot leader and mobilizer, a political heavyweight.

Born on the 30th of May, 1960, Chimaroke became the governor of Enugu State at the age of 38, in the year 1999, when the country returned to democracy. He became Senator at the age of 46.

He has transformed lives and environments. He raised virtually every political who-is-who in Enugu from 1999 – Governors, Ministers, Senators, Lawmakers, Ambassadors, Chief executives of parastatals, Commissioners, Ward leaders.

He built brand new University campus, Teaching Hospital, City tunnel crossing, housing estates, etc. Happy Birthday Ebeano!
