Nigeria on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 recorded 276 new confirmed positive cases of coronavirus, Igbere TV reports.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in a statement on its Twitter handle.
The agency said, with the latest infections, the total number of confirmed cases of the novel virus in the country stands at 8,344.
Since its outbreak in the West African country, a total of 2,385 persons have recovered and discharged, with 249 deaths recorded.
