Nigeria, on Sunday, confirmed 313 new coronavirus positive cases, Igbere TV reports.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Twitter.
The agency said the latest figure brings the total number of cases in the nation to 7,839.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nigeria, 2,263 persons have been discharged, with 226 deaths recorded.
