Governors of the 5 Southeastern states in Nigeria are currently meeting behind closed doors at the Enugu State Government House, in Enugu State.
Though details of the meeting is not public, Igbere TV, however, learned it may not be unconnected with coronavirus and security situation in the region.
At the last meeting of the Governors, the discussion was on the formation of a regional security outfit which framework was supposed to be fine-tuned for consideration at the next meeting which is currently taking place.
Our Government House correspondent reports those at the meeting to include Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, who is Chairman of the Forum and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who is the host.
The Governors of Abia State, Victor Ikpeazu and Anambra State, Willie Obiano are represented by their deputies.
Hope Uzodinma, Imo governor, who is also present at the meeting, is attending for the first time since he assumed office.
