The Unity Park, formerly known as Forest Reserve, located adjacent to the popular Michael Okpara Square, Independence Layout, Enugu, has been beautified by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Igbere TV reports that the new look is aimed at transforming the centre into a tourist attraction and a place for relaxation and recreation, in line with state government’s urban renewal drive.
The Unity Park which has been recently fenced with designed metal railings by Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration is being beautified with art works such as an artificial water pond and a monumental roaring lion of about 30ft high and 60ft wide.
