IgbereTV reports that Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State revealed that the State Government has paid the sum of 8 million Naira to Fulani Herdsmen who lost their cows at Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State.
The Governor made this known when the leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) paid him a visit at the Imo State Government House Owerri.
Governor Uzodimma stressed that Imo People are hospitable people and will do everything possible to make the State conducive for every Nigerian, irrespective of their religion or tribe.
Governor Uzodimma also stated that Governors who are rejecting and deporting Alamajiri from their State are going against the dream of achieving a united Nigeria.
The Governor said that Almajiris are free to stay in the State but will have to undergo the mandatory process of 14 days self Isolation before being allowed into the state.
Governor Uzodinma thanked Miyetti Allah for their support and prayers, while assuring them of that everyone in the State will be treated equally.
Alhaji Yakubu Bello, one of the leaders of the association, thanked Governor Uzodimma for making the state conducive for them to carry out their business activities. He also assured the Governor of their unflinching support.
