IgbereTV reports that the government of Abia State has provided palliative materials to the Student Union of the various institutions of higher learning in the state.
In a statement made available to IgbereTV by the Honorable Commissioner for Information, Abia State, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the Student Union Presidents of the tertiary institutions have been asked to come and collect palliative materials for their members, on Friday, 15th May, 2020, by 1pm, at Food Bank, Office of Wife of the Governor, Government House Umuahia.
Below is a list of the benefiting institutions
1. Abia State Polytechnic, Aba
2. Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba
3. Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu
4. School of Nursing, Aba, Amachara and FMC Umuahia
5: School of Midwifery, Aba, FMC and Abiriba
6. Abia State Universty, Uturu
7. Michael Okpara University, Umudike.
