Former Senate Pres. Bukola Saraki appeals to Muslims to adhere to the measures to curb COVID-19

The Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki as called on Muslims adhere to the measures put in place to curb the coronavirus as they commence the Ramadan fasting.

He said, “As we begin the Holy Month of Ramadan n perhaps some of the most difficult circumstances in recent memory, I appeal to all muslims to pray for our country, and indeed the whole world, to emerge from the socio-economic crises caused by #COVID19 as a kinder, stronger, more united world committed to upholding the values of peace and harmony.

I appeal to all muslims to demonstrate the spirit of brotherhood during Ramadan by caring for the less privileged amongst us.

I also appeal to everyone to adhere to the measures put in place by the authorities to help curb the spread of the #coronavirus.”
