Former Senate Pres. Bukola Saraki appeals to Muslims to adhere to the measures to curb COVID-19

The Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki as called on Muslims adhere to the measures put in place to curb the coronavirus as they commence the Ramadan fasting.

He said, β€œAs we begin the Holy Month of Ramadan n perhaps some of the most difficult circumstances in recent memory, I appeal to all muslims to pray for our country, and indeed the whole world, to emerge from the socio-economic crises caused by #COVID19 as a kinder, stronger, more united world committed to upholding the values of peace and harmony.

I appeal to all muslims to demonstrate the spirit of brotherhood during Ramadan by caring for the less privileged amongst us.

I also appeal to everyone to adhere to the measures put in place by the authorities to help curb the spread of the #coronavirus.”
