A member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has killed a driver at toll gate Umuikaa Junction in Abia State Over bribe, Igbere TV has learnt.
Igbere TV gathered that the ugly incident happened this morning as the civil defence member absconded to the nearest police station after killing the driver.
According to an eyewitness who shared the report with Igbere TV, the driver was carrying food items like rice and tomatoes and wasn’t carrying any passenger.
As at the time of filing this information the youths are angry and have destroyed their checkpoint.
However, the NSCDC members have deserted from the crime scene and the body is still lying at Ronald Hospital
