Fourteen new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have been recorded in Nigeria, Africa’s largest country.
Igbere TV reports that while 13 were recorded in Lagos, 1 case was reported in Delta State, a Southern state.
This brings the total number of cases to 288, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
“As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths,” said NCDC.
