According to the reports, Chinese medical teams on Wednesday touched down at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport as they are in the country to help Nigeria combat the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the Chinese medical team will not commence operation immediately as they will go into 14 days isolation as part of safety guidelines.
According to President Muhammadu Buhari spokesperson on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, he said in a tweet, “In case you are looking for this, the Chinese medical team that arrived Abuja today to assist Nigeria in its fight against #COVID19, would be spending 14 days in quarantine before they begin their operation in the country.”
