Following the lockdown imposed by government to help fight the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, a couple in Taraba State decided to get married in their living room.
According to IgbereTV reports, the couple got married on Saturday, in their room with few friends who attended the wedding ceremony.
It was a simple ceremony, with ten people in attendance, with less expenses spent on refreshments.
The wedding had to be conducted in that manner after the deputy governor of Taraba State, Haruna Manu had announced that there will be a lockdown in Taraba State from Friday, April 3, at 11pm. He also announced that there will be no Juma’at or Sunday Church services.
