Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration has completed the construction of Aludele Road -Eruchalu Street, Nsukka.
Igbere TV gathered that the completion of the road is in keeping with his promise to “equip and modernise Nsukka – a University town founded over half a century ago – to compete with other University towns in attracting technology and knowledge-based businesses and other industrial support ventures, bearing in mind that Nsukka is the second largest town in Enugu State”.
Speaking with Igbere TV, a resident of the area said that anybody who lives or lived in the University town of Nsukka, will be conversant with this Eruchalu Street, off Aludele Road and adjacent to St. Theresa’s Cathedral, Nsukka.
According to him, the significance of the road, which was hitherto in a pitiable condition, in linking Aludele Road with the state-of-the-art Opi-Nsukka dual carriageway, as well as easing traffic gridlock at the Ogige Market is enormous.
