The Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe, on Saturday, fulfilled his promise to Abians as he handed over his donation of 850 Bags of Rice, 3 Ambulances and other assistances to the Abia State Government in the fight against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
Igbere TV reports that the donations were received by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joe Osuji and other members of the State #COVID19 Task Force.
Recall that Prof Ibe had commended the strategies put in place and personally supervised by the Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, under the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Coronavirus, stating that with the combined effort of government and other critical stakeholders, the war against coronavirus would surely be defeated.
