In a bid to cushion the effect of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has ordered distribution of food materials to all vulnerable people in the State.
Igbere TV reports that members of the food security subcommittee were seen offloading the food items on Friday night.
According to the Commissioner for Information in the State, John Okiyi, “Governor Ikpeazu directed that we ensure that all vulnerable persons in Abia State receive food materials from Sunday.”
