Nigeria has recorded 23 new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Igbere TV reports.
According to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), out of the 23, Lagos has 9, 7 in the FCT, 5 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Bauchi State.
The development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 174.
Since the outbreak of the virus in Nigeria, 9 patients have been discharged, with two deaths recorded.
