Recall that there was an explosion in the early hours of Saturday in Akure, Ondo state in the south western part of Nigeria with properties destroyed and people injured in the aftermath.
According to the reports, there were no fatalities as 11 people were admitted with 6 of them who sustained minor injuries already discharged.
Following a visit to the victims of the explosion in the hospital, the Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu gave them assurance as he stated that the state government will handle the medical expenses.
He said, “I also assured them that all their medical bills will be handled by the state government.”
The Governor also prayed for the speedy recovery of the others.
