Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has confirmed first case of coronavirus in the State.

Igbere TV recalls that the Nigerian government, late Friday, recorded 11 new cases of the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing the total number to 81 in the country.

However, with the new confirmed case in Benue, the number will now be 82 in the country.

The The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is yet to update its data.
