Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Tuesday disclosed that the Delta State Government has taken measures to equip youth in the state with relevant skills that would enable them to contribute to the development of the society.
Governor Okowa disclosed this when he received the Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Dame Julie Okah-Donli, at the Government House in Asaba.
“The Delta State Government is creating opportunities for our youth through skills acquisition and agricultural training programmes. This development has shielded many of our youth from being susceptible to human trafficking,” Governor Okowa said.
