Former Senator, Shehu Sanni has reacted to the death of Chineme Martins, a defender with the Nasarawa United FC, who passed away during their match with Katsina United FC in Lafiya.
Shehu Sanni described Martins death as tragic and a great loss as he pray that his soul Rest in perfect.
The former law maker also sent his condolences to the Nigerian Football Federation, League Management Company, his team and family.
He also called out Nigerians as he said if it was a foreign player, some people will not be able to eat.
Shehu Sanni said, “If na one Oyinbo die for Barcelona,Madrid,Chelsea,ManU or Arsenal..ah pesin no go hear word lai lai,some ma no go fit eat dem dinner.”
