Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde and former VP and PDP 2019 Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar have joined the rest of the world to celebrate women on International Women’s Day.
Seyi Makinde in his statement said, “On #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the women of Oyo State. Our administration remains committed to ensuring that our women have equal access to opportunities in education, training, employment and other commercial activities.”
Atiku Abubakar in his word said, “On this #IWD2020, I celebrate all women who are striving even against all the odds. However, women do not have to strive when we can create enabling spaces for them to thrive. On this day, I add my voice to the collective demand for women empowerment.”
